From Macedonia Airport
The airport is located outside the city’s boundaries, approximately 18 kilometers from Polis Apartments and the center of the city. You can reach Polis by:
- Bus (public transport). At the exit of the airport there is a bus station. Board the bus, line 01X – ή 01Ν if you are travelling at night time, with direction toward the center of the city. Get off at Kolombus stop, at Egnatia Street. Polis is located at the first crossing, at Karaoli & Dimitriou ton Kyprion Street, no 13. The distance lasts approximately 45 minutes.
- ΤΑXΙ. At the exit of the airport, you will find a TAXI station as well. The transportation cost, until the city center, costs approximately 30 Euros, depending on the traffic. The route lasts more or less 30 minutes.
From the Train Station
The train Station is located in Monastiriou Street, just 800 meters from Polis
Apartments. You can get to Polis through:
- Bus (Public Transport). At the exit of the train station, there is a bus stop. Board any one of the lines 2,3,8,10,11,14,17,78 from the “Zografou” bus stop. Get off at the next bus stop “Kolombus”. The route lasts 2 minutes.
- ΤΑXΙ. At the train station exit, you will encounter a TAXI station as well. The minimum cost, during day time is 2,5€. The route lasts approximately 2 minutes.
- On Foot. Walk down Monastiriou street, using the direction towards the city center, for about 600 meters. Polis is located at Karaoli & Dimitroiu ton Kyprion Street, no 13, which intersects diagonally with Egnatia Street. The route lasts around 10 minutes.
From the Harbour
- ΤΑXΙ. At the harbour’s exit, you will find a TAXI station. The minimum cost, during day time is 2,5€. The route lasts approximately 10 minutes.
- On Foot. Ascend Salaminos street (which changes its name to Dodekanisou & Karaoli & Dimitriou on Kyprion street)in the direction opposite to the sea for approximately 800 meters. Polis is located in Karaoli & Dimitroiu ton Kyprion Street, no 13, on your left arm. The route last more or less 13 minutes.
